Movement Freeride
With a youthful, fresh, trendy design, the freeride slats from Movement come along. With center widths ranging from around 90 to 120 mm, Movement covers the entire range of freeride skis. Regardless of whether skiers still tend to be piste-oriented and occasionally venture out into deep snow or whether they are absolute powder freaks, any of the models will fit in any case. The skis are based on a lightweight ski core made of ecological poplar wood, which is covered by a layer of triaxial fiberglass that provides stability. The different CTS constructions provide more or less torsional stiffness and performance depending on the model. The additional carbon inlay used in individual models provides liveliness and precision. Not only their good look of the freeride models speak for Movement, but also the well-rounded concept that offers a lot of driving fun.

LG Poplar Light
LG - LESS GLUE
The wood core is of capital importance. It not only brings the ski to life, but also gives it the longevity of its predefined criteria, which vary depending on the area of use (piste freeride freestyle touring). We continue to purchase only FCS and PEFC certified wood (www.fcs.org, www.pefc.org). Currently the following wood species are processed: Okume, Poplar, LG Poplar Light, Karuba, and Ultra light Karuba selection. Each wood core is weighed according to selective criteria in order to fit perfectly into the production.
Dynamic Tri-Axial
MLT - MULTIAXIAL LIGHT TECHNOLOGY
We have developed fiberglass types, consisting of an elaborated triaxial fiberglass-carbon complex, which replaces the classic fiberglass in some models. This fiber (MLT by MOVEMENT), developed by our engineers, is used on all Touring and Free Touring models to increase the overall stability of the ski while maintaining a low weight.
Light Rocker / Tail Rocker
The Light Rocker in the shovel, with numbers between 6 and 12 indicating the average length of the rocker opening, provides excellent absorption of bumps in the terrain and in different snow qualities, as well as easy and progressive turn release. The bias in the middle of the ski and the tail give excellent stability and grip.
Full Rocker
When a wide Full Rocker ski glides, only the central part of the ski makes contact with the snow. This allows a much faster turn initiation compared to a normal ski.
CTS Performance
Control Torsion System
With this system we connect the top and bottom layers of the ski front and back to block the torsion of the ski.
CTS Light
Control Torsion System Light
With the new 3D Light Cap ABS Sidewall construction, the ABS is incorporated directly into the wood core and thus functions as reinforcement. With this system we achieve a weight optimization in contrast to the classic CTS. Therefore, this construction is used in some Free Touring and Freeride models.
