Women will find a wide selection of skis at Elan that are suitable both on and off the slopes. These are actually three lines. The first are the models with the Amphibio rocker and the Fusion-

Amphibio

Elan is the only major ski manufacturer to use an asymmetrical rocker. The outer edges of the ski are rockered or slightly more curved at both ski ends, while the inner edges have a classic preload or no rocker. The inside edge provides maximum edge grip, while the outside edge facilitates turn initiation.

Early Rise Rocker

While the models with the designation "Fusion" are equipped with an Amphibio Rocker, the models with the designation "QT" come with an Early Rise Rocker. This is a slightly more bent up shovel to improve turn initiation on the slopes and floatation in powder snow.

Waveflex

The "Waveflex" concept developed by Elan is a wave-shaped top layer that simultaneously ensures that the flex remains soft on the one hand, but the torsional or rotational stiffness of the ski remains as high as possible, which improves the performance of the ski.

Wavelight

Wave-shaped top layer, which provides a soft flex and high stability. Thanks to the wave shape, the ski can be built thinner and therefore lighter.

Trulite Woodcore

A lightweight, women's specific wood core from tip to tail of carefully selected wood species, perfect for women's models.

Dualite Woodcore

A lightweight, durable wood core made of two wood strands and a synthetic core for good power transmission and strong edge grip.

Mono TI

A titanium insert over the wood core increases torsional stiffness and reaction speed.

Lithium

Lithium is lightweight and temperature resistant. An insert with this material strengthens the ski without significantly increasing the weight.

RST

Vertical sidewalls that provide optimal edge grip and transfer power directly to the edges.

SST

Beveled sidewalls are optimal for a durable ski without making it unnecessarily heavy or stiff.

HSS

HSS stands for Heel Support Sidewall. The sidewalls support turn initiation and corner control....

Monoblock

A wood laminate that runs to the edge, providing direct power transmission and torsional rigidity.

Full Power Cap

A particularly easy to ride, forgiving design.

Fibreglass

Above or below the wood core, fiberglass optimizes the properties of the ski and provides a harmonious flex and torsional stiffness.

Express

Construction for the optimal transfer of energy from the skier to the ski. It provides improved edge grip and optimum stability.

Quick Trick (QT)

Ski binding system that allows to adjust the ski to the ski boot as quickly and easily as possible. Due to the use of lighter material, the binding is particularly suitable for children's and women's skis.
