Dynastar Speed Zone, 2016/2017

Dynastar Speed Zone

Speed Zone is the name of the new carving line from Dynastar for winter 2016/17, which replaces the former Chrome model line. Already visually, the transition of the racing skis to the piste or carving skis for men is fluid. Not only the design has been adopted and adapted to it, no, also the technology, especially the Powerdrive technology is used in the new "Speed Zone" models, which raises them to a new level. Anyone who wants to be fast on the slopes is well equipped with these sporty models.

Tip Rocker

Moderate rocker only on the shovel. Facilitates turning with flat ski and provides softness and tolerance in the turns. The rise is moderate so that the ski works in the turn over the entire contact length of the edges.

Sandwich

The ski is made in sandwich construction and has straight sidewalls for maximum precision and performance.

100% Carbon Fiber

The Formula 1 fiber in ski construction is carbon. It has the most effective strength to weight ratio. It guarantees ultimate stability for better contact with the snow, while being the ultra-lightweight.

Titanal

The combination of a wood ski core and Titanal laminate inserts represents a ski construction in which the damping, stability and torsional stiffness are optimized for the best snow feel, power and precision.

Powerdrive

POWERDRIVE consists of a vertical sidewall composed of three materials: a visco-elastic component provides impact absorption on uneven terrain, the second area is made of Titanal and enhances the performance of the ski and the third part is the ABS element of the sidewall, which has a central and traditional role in ski control, stability and snow contact.

Fibro metal

Different shapes of metal and fiberglass laminates at staggered lengths in the tip provide a reduction of weight in the tip, which reduces the inertia of the shovel. This increases tip stiffness, facilitates turn initiation and ensures edge grip along the entire length of the ski. The reduced weight of the shovel ensures a faster turn.

Active Wood Core

The Active Wood Core combines the advantages of the microcell core with those of the wood core. Comfort and stability meet agility and energy. The Active Wood Core creates skis that are both lively and cushioning for a smooth snow feel.
