Velo Loft, Zurich

Originally, the bike store belonging to Colag AG started in Zurich-Wiedikon with a store where the then bike import company could directly sell its bike brands such as Cilo, Allegro, Zenith or Saxonette. In the course of the takeover by Constellation AG (2017/18) and later by the newly founded Swiss Emobility Group, which among other things took over m-way from Migros, a new management came to the helm, convinced that Velo-Loft's branch network needed to be expanded. In a short time, a branch was opened in the city of Zurich, in the Enge district of Zurich, in Hinwil and other branches were to follow quickly. In 2021, there is still one branch left of it, which can currently be found at Zollstrasse 51/53. Obviously, the branch strategy, which was certainly very expensive, was again abandoned for cost reasons. In addition to sales, repair and service was and is offered. In the medium term, it is also conceivable that the Velo Loft name will be abandoned altogether and the branch integrated into the m-way group.
