Rossignol Unique
Women should have as much fun skiing as men, at least if French ski manufacturer Rossignol has its way. Rossignol's Unique series offers a choice of six models for piste ladies who want to speed down the hills. In addition to trendy design, the skis offer high maneuverability, they are fast, light and maneuverable, full edge grip and a pleasant wearing comfort.

Air Core
Rossignol uses Air Core technology in 5 out of 6 Unique models. This is an ultra-light Paulownia wood core with air channels that reduces the overall weight of the skis by 20%, for fatigue-free maneuverability and increased ease of use without compromising downhill performance.
Power Turn Rocker
The Unique models are equipped with a Power Turn Rocker. The conventional high chamber through 90% of the ski length provides power and edge grip for explosive bite and lift. The fine rocker tip over the other 10% delivers easier turn initiation and control.
Air Shape
Women want high comfort, Rossignol has developed the Air Shape for this purpose. The reduced ski volume and the beveled shape along the edges in front of the binding area is perfectly adapted to women's hands for easy ski transport.
Minicap sandwich
The ultra-strong construction appears with wood core, 30° sidewalls, fiberglass and high-tech laminates. The Mini Caps protect the ski tips and prevent damage with improved durability. The sidewalls are 30′ turned up, which improves swing weight and reduces overall ski weight for better edge grip and resistance.
Central Dualtec
A combination of the best features of sandwich and tip guard construction. The tip guard improves the ski's durability and simplifies rebound, while the traditional sidewalls under the boot provide sharp, direct edge pressure. The benefits of the combined constructions produce a soft flex and strong edging for comfortable ski control. Grip, lightness, resistance.
Cap
A somewhat simpler, but cheaper ski construction. ROSSITOP tip caps strengthen the ski, protect it against damage and make it more resistant with faster response.

Good day
I have received a good offer for the unique14. Now I find nothing on the internet about this model. Is this a good one?
Thank you for your quick feedback
Good day Mrs. Gemperle
You probably mean the Unique 4 model from Rossignol from the 2015/16 or 2014/15 season. Information about it can be found at. https://www.sportguide.ch/rossignol-unique-women-pisten-ski-2015-2016/. As you will see, it is a piste ski or carverski for women. The Unique 4 model is in the middle of the collection, it is not the highest quality but not the easiest. For a really attractive offer, the model can certainly be recommended for classic female piste skiers. The price is decisive here.
I think Mrs. Gemperle is talking about this model - which I can't find either

Good day Mr. Pressler
Thank you very much for your valuable advice and your good will to help here.
In fact, this is the Unique 14 model, which, to our knowledge, did not exist in Switzerland in 2014/15 and 2015/16. But based on the number, it can be concluded that it was a high-quality model of the series, because Rossignol numbers its ski models with increasing quality upwards, i.e. the higher the number of a model within a model series, the higher the quality of the ski model (e.g. Pursuit 800 is the highest-quality model, Pursuit 100 the cheapest model). But I ask now once at Rossignol directly.
So now it's out, good things come to those who wait.
According to Rossignol Switzerland, the Unique 14 is a "Special Make Up" (SMU) model. Such SMU models are usually produced exclusively for larger dealers / buying groups. Whether the ski was offered in Switzerland cannot be determined without the article number. Based on the mounted binding, Rossignol estimates that it is a medium model (4 or 6 model) from the Unique series, so a good all-rounder.
Hello,
I see two models of Rossignol Women ski set: Unique 14 and Unique Xpress.
What is the difference between the two? Which one would be better for a beginner?
Thank you and greetings,
Dave
Hi Dave
We are now in 2020, the ski collection presented here is now 4-5 years old. I recommend that you look at the current range https://www.sportguide.ch/rossignol-ski-2019-2020/ look around. The Unique 14 model was a special model, I don't know the Unique Xpress, but Xpress is a cheaper binding used on cheaper models, so the Unique Xpress would certainly do.
