The new 2018/19 generation of racing skis for World Cup racers

"Hero" means "hero", because they are made for Rossignol ski heroes, the racers who participate in international competitions and compete with Rossignol skis. In the process, the line is developed at the rhythm of the Olympics, every 4 years. With this winter, the new generation of Hero ski models is just around the corner. In the process, Rossignol has also launched some breakthrough technologies, including LCT technology for dynamic track control and DLC technology, which is based on a hydraulic shock absorber placed between the binding and tip, which increases edge grip and track control.

Ski technology

DLC technology

This is a massive hydraulic shock absorber thatt is placed between the binding and the tip of the ski to significantly increase overall tracking control, which in detail results in the following effects:

No counterflex is possible - so you can keep the track perfectly.
Stability between the gates is increased (beveled areas).
One gains the flex control in the curves
One achieves an efficient edge grip
The ski shows a lively behavior at the end of the swing

LCT technology

This technology is based on the DLC (Dynamic Line Control) technology used by World Cup athletes. It guarantees performance and energy. Through the middle of the ski runs a titanal strand and provides captivating stability and dynamic line control throughout the turn.

Sandwich Construction, Rectangular Sidewall

Modern sandwich construction with wood core, vertical sidewalls, fiberglass and titanal or carbon reinforcements. The wood core gives the ski its character and feel for the snow. The rectangular structure allows better distribution of flexibility, and the vertical sidewalls provide direct and powerful edge grip. Edge grip, power, control.

Power Turn Rocker

The conventional high chamber through 90% of the ski length provides power and edge grip for explosive bite and lift. The fine rocker tip over the remaining 10%, delivers easier turn initiation and control.
