Rossignol Famous 2018/19
The "Famous" models for carving ladies are entering their third winter. They have been well prepared for this with an all-round renewal. New, for example, is the VAS Women System, which thanks to elastic filters under the shovel dampens vibrations while skiing and increases ride comfort. The shape has also been renewed: all models now have an oversized sidecut, which improves edge grip and stability. The models are aimed at piste-oriented female skiers who are looking for a turn-friendly and stable ski.

On-Trail Rocker
The ON-TRAIL rocker is designed for precision on the slopes. It has a classic camber over 90 percent of the ski's length for explosive quickness and strong edge grip, and a small rocker on the shovel (10 percent) for easy turn initiation and turn control.
Sandwich Construction, Rectangular Sidewall
Modern sandwich construction with wood core, vertical sidewalls, fiberglass and titanal or carbon reinforcements. The wood core gives the ski its character and feel for the snow. The rectangular structure allows better distribution of flexibility, and the vertical sidewalls provide direct and powerful edge grip. Edge grip, power, control.
Cap
Sidewall
Sidewall construction incorporates a layering principle of core material (wood, fiberglass, metal, etc.) and vertical sidewalls along the entire length of the ski to optimize edge grip, precision, balance and power.
