Rossignol Escaper: escape from your everyday life

Last winter, Rossignol launched the first touring ski line called "Escaper". At that time, it was already announced that the touring ski line would be further expanded in the following year. Rossignol has kept this promise with the presentation of the Escaper touring skis 2022/23. But now Rossignol is going one step further and expanding this line to the outdoor concept with more products in winter and now also in summer.

Last winter, the ski brand Rossignol launched its first touring ski line: "Escaper". Rossignol had the years before again and again individual models in the assortment but no uniform line. However, the launch of this new series was a complete success. People are currently focusing more on themselves, preferring more and more individual sports and looking for an emotional outdoor experience. Breaking away from the daily grind and striking a balance between work and recreation are more and more at the center of people's minds when it comes to their leisure time. Work-life balance and wellbeing are modern terms that reflect the current mood of people who want to do sports. The urge to get out into nature in particular is steadily increasing.

Escaper Ski 2022/23
In 2022/23, Rossignol is keeping its promise to expand the ski line and is delivering a total of five models for men and four models for women, after being at about half that level a year earlier. Thus, the French ski manufacturer offers a wide range of highly professional skis in the trend sport "ski touring" to a grown buyer group. The healthy air and movement in unspoiled nature without performance and group stress can have a calming effect and be fascinating. Here you can still recharge your batteries. It is not speed that is decisive, but tranquility and the pure experience of nature.

Technological highlights include the Air Tip shovel, which is particularly light and increases the skis' controllability, the handy V-Skin Anchor attachment system of the climbing skins, the Aero Profile, which enhances edge grip and increases maneuverability, the Paulownia wood cores and Paulownia & Microcell cores for minimal weight, and the ultra-light Nano Titanal, Nano Carbon, Nano Basalt and Carbon Stringer reinforcements.

Expansion of the Escaper concept to outdoor
Now Rossignol is developing the "Escaper" line into a lifestyle concept. Many people want to break out of everyday life and not only in winter and not only on skis. Not only skiers want to break out of everyday life, but also snowboarders, cross-country skiers, snow tourers, mountain bikers, hikers, trail runners and outdoor enthusiasts par excellence. Backpacks, fanny packs and ski poles complement the touring ski range in winter. But also the new splitboard "Escaper Split" with Escaper skin or the new cross-country ski series Positrack for cross-country skiing off the groomed trail in the backcountry are part of the new Escaper series this winter.

Escaper 2023 stands for the escape from everyday life and towards health in nature. For spring and summer, Rossignol has also developed new items for outdoor sports. Hiking and trail running shoes, hoodies, jackets, pants, shorts, shirts, mountain bike and road bike clothing, which are also sometimes marked with the abbreviation "SKPR" (here the vowels have been omitted, but phonetically it is very close to the term "Escaper" new), are on offer and embody this new philosophy of freedom and well-being.

Overall, Escaper strikes a whole new line that surprises and inspires and can infect. It would not be surprising if in the near future e-bikes or mountain bike models with the name Escaper would come on the market. Escaper is on the move and moving.
