In the development of this new line of ski boots Rossignol has not made it easy. During a full 2 years, a team of specialists led by Giuseppe Garbujo, General Manager of the Rossignol Ski Boot Division, has developed this new line. Following the principle that "the foot is the root of all things", every detail was fine-tuned to create new lines and leave out anything superfluous, with the aim of making the ski boot fit the skier's foot as precisely as possible. This is how prototype after prototype was created. Attention was paid to the robustness of the ski boot, the space between the inner boot and the shell, the thickness of the foam at the ankles, and so on. The result is a ski boot that combines the features of a classic piste ski boot (4 buckles, rear support, foot hold, responsiveness) with those of a freeride boot (HIKE position, anti-slip sole, rubber heels).[divider type=""]
Sensor Grid
In developing the shell, Rossignol has taken care to design it as stiff as necessary to optimally transmit the force and movement, while keeping it as light as possible to ensure the best possible mobility. The result is the "Sensor Grid" concept, a highly visible grid on the shell. This makes the shell thinner and stiffer. The diagonal arrangement of the grid meets the anatomy of the foot and provides greater precision of power transmission.

Two interior shapes
Two completely new interior shapes have been designed for the line, differing in width. The foot width is 100 mm for the "Alltrack Pro" models and 102 mm for the "Alltrack" models.

Optics sensor 3D inner shoe
With a lot of patience the inner shoe of the Alltrack was developed, every morphological detail taken into account. Accordingly sophisticated and thoughtful, the shoe has been specially designed at 4 foot zones: 1. holding zone: at the heel, stiff materials have been used to ensure a perfect hold. 2. wrapping zone: around the instep, the inner shoe has been designed to provide optimal wrapping. The inner shoe can be additionally laced. 3. comfort zone: the area around the ankles has been covered with soft material to provide high comfort. 4. mobility zone: in order to also create good mobility in the inner shoe, which is important when walking and hiking, the area above the instep, where it is necessary to buckle the shoe, has been provided with an elastic part, which supports the walking movement.

Hike fashion
Not new as a concept, but well implemented: The tab is easily accessible even when wearing gloves and makes it easier for the skier to move the ski boot from the "ski position" (down), which is set when skiing, to the "hike position" (up), in which it is more comfortable to hike.

Diagonal buckles
Rossignol's patented system is based on diagonally mounted buckles that are easier to tighten.

Anti-slip sole
To reduce slipping on slippery surfaces, stairs, stones, etc., the Alltrack ski boot is equipped with a generously fitted rubber sole.

Rocker heels
The shoes of the Alltrack line are provided with standardized heels of alpine ski boots. Optionally, the boots are also available with rocker heels according to the touring standards WTR, which are appreciated for their natural rolling and better grip. In bindings according to WTR standard can be guaranteed the same high level of safety as in normal alpine ski boots with alpine bindings.
