Rossignol 7-Series - a new freeride feeling

2013/14 year Rossignol has launched its new freeride skis on the market and immediately took some awards and prizes for its high innovation. In particular, the novel air-filled blades, whose technology are summarized under the term "Air Tip", have caused a sensation. The success of this technology this year has even led to the fact that it has now entered the all-mountain skis. A cool design also provides the necessary pep to please the deep snow cracks. The successful and unique series goes into the next winter with few adjustments.

Air Tip

A technology patented by Rossignol, in which the shovel has a honeycomb-like structure filled with air. This makes the shovel lighter and shifts the weight towards the center of the ski, which produces improved maneuverability and ease of turning.

Powder Turn Rocker

The Powder Turn Rocker is one of three types of rocker that Rossignol uses. The shovel and ski ends of 50% are equipped with rocker and 50% has classic preload under the ski binding. The strong rocker on the shovel provides the buoyancy iom deep snow, the rocker at the ski end for easier turning and better ride control.

Perfect symbiosis of paulownia wood core and air-tip blade, provides smoothness and low vibration when switching from one type of snow to another and better control of the ski.

Paulownia wood

Individual models have a wooden core made of paulownia wood. Paulownia wood is about 30% lighter than other common types of wood used in ski production, which of course makes the ski even more maneuverable.
