SCOTT Sports SA recall

Today we received word from SCOTT Sports SA that around 8,000 Speedster Road bikes are being recalled worldwide. The reason for this is the discovery that the affected models can allegedly break the head tube in the fork, which carries a risk of falling. The models were sold at dealers from August 2013 to May 2014. Owners of these models should immediately stop using the bike and take it to the nearest SCOTT dealer, where a new fork will be fitted free of charge.
