Price MTB 650b: Cheap and with the individual touch

Cheap Price has always been, here the name is program. The 27.5-inch size has the Uster bike manufacturer 2015 further expanded. Here are two models that will please bikers.

For 2015, the Swiss manufacturer from Uster has a lot in the trendy 27.5-inch dimension in stock (by the way 650b is an old French measure for 27.5 inches). Among other things, its "All Mountain 650b" model anno 2015 with 150 mm suspension travel, which comes via a four-joint mechanism to the rear wheel. Front provided from scratch a 160 mm Suntour Auron for Enduro-Feelings, which can be replaced for an extra charge of CHF 200.00 by a Fox Talas with CTD concept (Climb Trail Descend) with also 160 mm travel. With this, we are already in the enduro range. At the top end of the suspension fork, a tapered (1 1/8 - 1 ½ inch), high-quality Ritchey Pro Press Fit headset is waiting to absorb any final impact on the frame and provide smooth steering. It is amazing how high quality the mountain bike is equipped from the ground up. The aluminum frame with internally routed cable pulls pleases visually very well and leaves enough space for the accommodation of a bidon holder. Just for carrying a bidon, a backpack is thus no longer necessary. The Price All Mountain 650b is equipped from the ground up with powerful disc brakes, which have a diameter of 203 mm in front and 180 mm in the rear. In view of this nevertheless hefty equipment list one is not badly surprised that the "aluminum stallion" comes weight-wise on 11.9 kg.

Price & Individuality
Price is not called Price for nothing. Price leadership is the strategy of the Uster manufacturers. With a base price of CHF 2,595.00, Price succeeds in setting a decent mark in this respect. In addition, Price impresses with a high degree of individuality. On the one hand, customers can choose from two standard colors and 31 special colors. On the other hand, customers can choose from various sets and components. This is particularly true of the gears, where in addition to the Shimano Deore set as the basic configuration, there is also a Shimano SLX, a Shimano XT and three race-ready Shimano XTR shifting sets, one of which is electronic and has 22 gears, to choose from. Depending on the choice of components, the price ranges from CHF 2,595.00 to CHF 6,270.00. In four frame sizes between 38 - 53 cm (seat tube length) there is something for everyone. The Price All Mountain 650b is the right mountain bike for those looking for an all-mountain bike with enduro characteristics that can be put together very individually and costs little.

The Price XC Carbon 650b is a real fighting chance
In terms of weight and price, the new XC Carbon 650b from Price is a real challenge. At 10.9 kilos, it clearly falls below the 11 kilo limit and the full carbon mountain bike is already available from CHF 3,695.00 with a Shimano SLX shifting group. Of course, individual components can also be selected here, especially the hydraulic seatpost from Rock Shox is recommended as a comfortable feature.

Both 27.5er bikes combine the strengths of Price: a low price and a high individuality and all this paired with the latest technology. There's nothing to complain about.
