Philippe Gilbert is the new ambassador and investor of Classified

Antwerp/Eindhoven, 18/01/23, 09:00am CET - Classified Cycling takes center stage at the Belgian cycling show Vélofollies to introduce its newest ambassador and investor, former professional cyclist and Belgian Philippe Gilbert. Classified Cycling, the advanced propulsion innovator from Belgium, is proud to add a rider of Phillipe's caliber to its ambassador team.

Born in 1982 in Verviers, a town in one of Belgium's most famous cycling regions, Wallonia, Philippe started cycling at an early age and launched an impressive career that saw him become road world champion in 2012 and win the Amstel Gold Race four times. His resume also includes two Giro di Lombardia, Liège - Bastogne - Liège, Paris Roubaix and of course the famous breakaway victory in the 2017 Tour des Flandres. Phillippe is not only a classics rider, but also won 7 stages of the Vuelta a España and the overall victory in the 2014 Tour of Beijing.

Philippe retired from professional cycling last season and has now joined Classified Cycling as an investor and ambassador, bringing a wealth of World Tour experience and cycling passion to the company and its products.
