New colors for Shimano's XC9 & TR9

The range of shoes that adorn the feet of elite triathletes and MTB stars has expanded with the introduction of new color versions - XC9 now in silver; TR9 in black pearl - of Shimano's top models.

XC9 Cross Country Shoe
The unisex XC9 (SH-XC901) is designed for the world of elite cross country and cyclocross racing, where it is essential that the shoes are durable, long lasting and well-draining to cope with the conditions, while being light and stiff for optimal power transmission.

The SH-XC901 is already available in blue, green and black. The new silver color is available in sizes 36 to 48 (including half sizes 37.5-46.5) in standard or wide frame and weighs 265 g (size 42).

Outstanding features include:

Two BOA® IP1 knobs for micro adjustments and a Race-Fit upper for a glove-like fit
Low stance height and external heel cup for foot stabilization
Carbon composite midsole and MICHELIN® outsole with anti-slip pattern and optional spikes for excellent traction and power transfer.
A cushioning and stability-enhancing shell-shaped insole with high-density and adaptable arch pads to customize the shoe to your needs.

TR9 triathlon shoe
The unisex TR9 (SH-TR901), on the other hand, is an elite triathlon racing shoe designed with podium performance in mind. Designed for optimal power transfer and comfort, the TR9 has features that will save your transitions time.

The SH-TR901 is already available in blue. The new black pearl color is available in sizes from 36 to 50 (including half sizes from 37.5 to 46.5) and weighs 230 g (size 42).

Outstanding features include:

A wide T1 quick strap, an easy to grip large heel loop and an extra wide top opening to simplify and speed up transitions.
A lightweight, stiff carbon composite sole (stiffness class 10/12) for efficient power transfer and an external heel cup for heel stabilization.
