New distribution of Electra Bikes

After Electra, one of the most popular manufacturers of modern city bikes as well as stylish and comfortable e-bikes, had handled sales through the distributor Sport Country AG for over a decade, Electra is now being distributed directly in Switzerland. For this purpose, the company with Californian roots, which is best known for its patented Flat Foot Technology®, has taken on a new country manager: Peter Stolba, who is himself a passionate biker, is now looking after local customers and driving the roll-out of Electra in the Swiss market.

Peter Stolba, who has 20 years of experience in various sales and marketing functions in the sports, cycling and fitness industry, previously worked for Polar Electro Europe AG for eleven years, eight of which as Country Manager Switzerland. In the past, he was also able to establish valuable contacts with the specialist trade at Uvex Switzerland and CicloSport Munich and gain helpful experience in the sports electronics sector for the sale of e-bikes. The enthusiastic water sportsman loves and lives the Electra lifestyle and is looking forward to the new challenge. "I have been an Electra owner for years and enjoy using my Cruiser Lux Fat for tours to the lake or through the city," says Stolba. The Electra brand and the bicycle industry are a "matter of the heart" for him, he said.

Internal sales and customer service for the Swiss market will be handled by the Hamburg office with immediate effect.
