Movement X-Series
The western Swiss ski manufacturer Movement is strongly rooted in the ski touring segment, which of course includes products for racers and sporty ski tourers. The X-Series models are aimed precisely at these sporty ski mountaineers. All models are based on an ultra-light Karuba wood core combined with glass and carbon fibers. The manufacturing process is secret. The line was developed with technology partner North TPT. The profound know-how about the technology allows Movement to reach interesting weight levels without having to complain about loss of performance and riding characteristics. This balance is Movement's main goal in the development of the X-SERIES models.

Ecological wood cores
The wood core is of capital importance. It not only brings the ski to life, but also gives it the longevity of its predefined criteria, which vary depending on the area of use (piste freeride freestyle touring). We continue to purchase only FCS and PEFC certified wood (www.fcs.org, www.pefc.org). Currently the following wood species are processed: Beech, Okume, Poplar, EPL Poplar light, Light Karuba, and Ultra light Karuba Selection. Each wood core is weighed according to selective criteria in order to fit perfectly into the production.

TPT TECHNOLOGY
All MOVEMENT's know-how lies in this construction. The best materials are used, but the construction remains a secret
North TPT
This complex of taped fibers continues to be the most important component of the X-SERIES, in which the weight factor plays an enormous role. The process is improved year after year and is the leading technology in fast touring and alpine skiing. This technical process of taping different fibers, unique in the world, is used in many industrial sectors (airplanes, automobiles, shipping...) where weight saving and maximum performance are top priorities. Every year we adapt our skis to the latest developments and acquired results. Our observations during the last years have shown that all skis with this technology have an excellent stability of the pre-stress and do not show any deformations despite the aging. In the most stressed areas, on the sidewalls in the binding area, special taped fiber layers have been used to make the ski even more shock resistant. MOVEMENT has an exclusive right to use this technology in the ski sector.
Light Rocker
The Light Rocker in the shovel, with numbers between 6 and 12 indicating the average length of the rocker opening, provides excellent absorption of bumps in the terrain and in different snow qualities, as well as easy and progressive turn release. The bias in the middle of the ski and the tail give excellent stability and grip.
Twin Rocker
In the Twin Rocker, the tip and tail are raised and extended, which gives the ski an easier turning ability, as well as optimal carrying capacity and handling in powder snow. The ski still has a large snow contact of the edges and a bias in the center of the ski for better stability and grip.
Classic Camber
For optimum performance on hard snow. Classic shovel and tail guarantee instant carving feeling and easy and precise riding. The bias under the binding provides stability, grip and a powerful rebound.
