Merida Reacto Evo: Created for pro teams

2014 Merida rides a new racing machine that was created for pro teams and very ambitious riders to succeed especially on long tours. The strengths of a time trial machine and a classic racer should be united here.

With the step into the Pro Tour business with its own team LAMPRE-MERIDA, Taiwan's second largest bicycle manufacturer has also imposed a major obligation on itself to deliver absolute top bikes. In order to further increase the chances of TEAM LAMPRE-MERIDA, they went to great lengths to design a racing bike that would best meet the requirements of the Pro Tour. The result is the new, aerodynamically shaped "REACTO EVO", which combines the advantages of a time trial machine with those of a classic racer.

Wind slippage versus stiffness
The wind tunnel, which had already been used in the development of the Time Warp time trial machine, was also used in the design.
