The Carinthian racer has been competing in the Alpine Skiing World Cup since 2016 and has made a good name for himself as a successful slalom racer right from the start. In 2021 he even won the Slalom World Cup. In 2023, he showed himself to be particularly strong in his second discipline, the giant slalom. At major events such as a world championship, he also likes to show himself strong in the Alpine combined, whose world championship title he took in Cortinas d'Ampezzo in 2021.
