Jolanda Neff rides for TREK in 2019

New team for Swiss mountain biker Jolanda Neff: The 25-year-old overall World Cup winner is moving from the Polish KROSS team to TREK in America. This gives Neff the opportunity to also compete in road and cyclo-cross races at the highest level.

The 2017 mountain bike world champion has decided to make a change after two years with the Polish KROSS team. At the American team TREK, the Thaler will get an additional chance as the only rider: in addition to the mountain bike team, she will also be a permanent part of the road and cyclo-cross team. "I am extremely enthusiastic about Trek as a brand and about the philosophy. The new Trek-Segafredo women's road team will be run by the same management as the men's World Tour team of the same name. This shows how important women's cycling is to Trek," said the Swiss road champion.

The Trek Factory Racing Team in cyclo-cross, which was also newly founded, also consists exclusively of women. "That's revolutionary," says the woman from eastern Switzerland. In the mountain bike World Cup, the Trek Factory XC Racing Team has already been holding its own at the highest international level for years. For the three-time overall World Cup winner, one thing is clear: "Mountain biking is my focus. I'm exceptionally excited to be racing World Cups in Trek's colors next year." Neff continued, "I am honored to be the only rider to compete in all three formations for Trek. It's been a lifelong dream of mine to race at the highest level on the best bikes, and I've now found the best possible partner in Trek."

With the Polish team KROSS, the 25-year-old has achieved great success in the past two years. In 2017 she became World Champion in Australia, in 2018 she rode to gold at the European Championships in Scotland, won several World Cup races and took the overall World Cup victory. Together with her KROSS brand colleague Maja Wloszczowska, Neff was also very successful in the team: "We were able to win the women's World Cup team classification twice in a row. It was a great two years at KROSS - I'll never forget it."
