Already in her first World Cup season in 2013 it became clear that she is an exceptional talent. That's why the Scott-Odlo MTB Racing Team immediately sought out the Swedish newcomer to take her under their wing for the 2014 season. Under such successful team riders as Nino Schurter, the talented racer was able to develop well and learn a lot from the experienced riders. Soon the team was also able to reap the rewards, as Jenny Rissveds raced from victory to victory and rose to the top. In 2016, she claimed her greatest success with a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Before that, she had already shone with her world championship title. A fabulous year! However, the pressure also increased and continues to affect her more and more. In particular, the spat between the Swedish national team and the Scott-Odlo racing team over the wearing or not wearing of certain brands and products at the races was ruthlessly put on her back. This constant pressure got to her so much that years later she spoke of depression and withdrew more and more from the racing circus. It was extraordinary that an athlete suddenly disappeared from racing virtually at the peak of her career. But in 2019 she made a comeback with her own Team 31 and made her way back to the top by winning the World Cup race in Lenzerheide (Switzerland). Currently, Jenny Rissveds is one of the best mountain bike racers in the world. In the 2021 season, she finished on the podium in 7 out of 10 World Cup races and was always in the top10. She is also the undisputed Swedish champion in Cross Country Olympic, Cross Country Short Circuit and Cross Country Eliminator. She has returned to the top of the world after a traumatic career break. In 2022, the Swede shows herself established and takes out 10 top 3 finishes in the World Cup and rides to 8th place in the world rankings.
