Didier Cuche is the new ambassador for UYN

45-year-old Didier Cuche ended his competitive career in 2012. The former butcher from the small village of Le Pâquier, where he grew up, became the star of the Swiss Speed Team. In his unprecedented 19-year career from 1993 to 2012, Didier Cuche was World Cup winner four times in downhill, once in giant slalom and once in super-G. He has won a total of four medals at World Championships, including gold in the Super-G in Val-d'Isere in 2009 and also Olympic silver in Nagano in 1998. In the Alpine Ski World Cup, he has won 21 victories, including five victories on the legendary Streif in Kitzbühel, making him currently the only skier ever to have achieved this. His last triumph was in the Super-G at Crans Montana on February 24, 2012, at the age of 37 years and 7 months.

He is one of the greatest skiers of all time and is highly regarded as an internationally successful athlete. Didier Cuche recently joined the #UYNner team. The Swiss athlete is the new ambassador for UYN, the Italian brand for high-tech sportswear.

UYN will provide Didier Cuche with underwear and socks. In addition, Didier Cuche's image will be visible on UYN branded socks and underwear packaging in Switzerland.
