Carlo Janka: The right answer

Even before the start of the alpine ski season, in our first Output a big Report about Carlo Janka with a short interview. His years of suffering had left traces in the results and there were doubts about his competitiveness. A year earlier he finished 51st in the downhill in Lake Louise and 40th in the Super G. But now "Jänks" gives us the best answer to our doubts and the expressed worries: in his first ski race in the current 2013/14 season, the downhill in Lake Louise on 30.11.2013, he delivers the best Swiss ranking with his 10th place despite starting number 37. Patrick Küng follows in 15th place, Didier Défago in 23rd and Beat Feuz in 30th. The other Swiss rank in the following places: Rank 41 Marc Gisin, Rank 43 Sandro Viletta, Rank 46 Marc Berthod, Rank 50 Silvan Zurbriggen and Rank 51 Ralph Weber. Who says! The first step back to the top has been made. We hope it continues like this!
