It was not so long ago that the two opponents faced each other and delivered an incredible match. That's right, many will still remember the semifinal match at the 2013 US Open, which Wawrinka lost to the regret of many fans and tennis lovers, after playing so triumphantly and winning the hearts of the spectators, but ultimately failing due to stupid own mistakes - a bitter defeat (Here is the link to the report). Back then, "Stan," as his friends call him, showed himself to be a genuinely fair sportsman with great character who congratulated Djokovic on his victory. But he is also a great sportsman with a fantastic fighting spirit, which he clearly proved with his semifinal match against Djokovic at this year's Australian Open 2014. The two again delivered an incredibly tough match with fabulous winners on both sides, moves to enjoy from the spectator's point of view. A match with ups and downs on both sides, a back and forth with the lead, but Wawrinka wanted the victory, absolutely, that little bit more will must have made it that he was the winner after five sets and 4 hours: Wawrinka:Djokovic: 2:6, 6:4, 6:2, 3:6, 9:7. Thus Wawrinka moves into the semifinal match of the Grand Slam tournament and one of the crown favorites for the title is eliminated.
