What were the decisive reasons for the innovation of your product?
We were dissatisfied with standard solutions for back protectors. Even so-called soft protectors do not have 360-degree flexibility. They are also bulky and do not offer optimal breathability. We wanted to create a product that feels like a "second skin" baselayer and offers the safety expected from a top protector.

Please describe how the above innovation was implemented in the product design.
The properties of the silicone-based compound used create a "fluid" feel when worn. We put three years of hard work into developing the Hex design with our materials engineers to reduce weight and ensure free flow of air and moisture through the protector. It's also only 12mm thick!

What new opportunities arise for the target group or what problems does your development solve (also vis-à-vis direct competitors)?
We are shifting the concept of protection from an "eExoskeleton" concept to a more form-fitting "baselayer" or "second skin" concept - this is a true "fit-it-and-forget-it" product. Movement is absolutely unrestricted when the product is worn - allowing progressive, ambitious alpine athletes to test their limits and take riding to a new level.
