4 new athletes at Fischer Sports

Four athletes from three nations: The Fischer Race Family is delighted to welcome promising newcomers for the coming season. Italy's Matteo Marsaglia, Austria's Katharina Huber and Switzerland's Urs Kryenbühl and Stefan Rogetin are switching to the ski manufacturer from Ried im Innkreis and will contest their races on Fischer in the future.

He has long been known as a particularly technically skilled ski racer: With 33-year-old Matteo Marsaglia, the Fischer Race Family is gaining an established athlete who will enrich the team in the fast disciplines. A good working relationship with his supplier is particularly important to the Italian: "I'm delighted to be taking off with a new partner at my side. Two years ago I already had my eye on the Fischer athletes' equipment and now, after a few tests, I've been able to see for myself. In addition, exact coordination with my team is very important to me and with Fischer I have found exactly what I was looking for."

The Fischer Race Family is also growing once again in the strong skiing nation of Switzerland: the two promising young talents Urs Kryenbühl and Stefan Rogetin are switching to the ski manufacturer from Ried im Innkreis. The two young athletes demonstrated consistent strength last season, especially in the Downhill and Super-G disciplines, and after some material tests decided to hit the ground running together with Fischer in the future. "I am convinced that this was an important step for me to be able to make up the necessary hundredths of a second on the top," says Kryenbühl.

The team is not only being strengthened in the fast disciplines: 23-year-old slalom and giant slalom specialist Katharina Huber will also be racing on Fischer from the 19/20 season. The Lower Austrian is particularly proud to be competing in her future races on a domestic product: "As an Austrian, I am of course particularly honored to be able to cooperate with a family business from Ried im Innkreis in the future." Together with Katharina Truppe, Huber for 19/20 creates a young, dynamic duo from the Austrian ranks who complement each other perfectly in their characteristics and can push each other to peak performance.

Fischer Race Director Siegi Voglreiter is looking forward to an exciting new season together with the new athletes: "We are very pleased to be able to expand our team again this year. With the Italian Matteo Marsaglia, our team gains an experienced, technically gifted skier. Especially with regard to the 2021 World Championships in Cortina, he will ensure exciting races and we are convinced that he has great potential. With the two young talents Urs Kryenbühl and Stefan Rogetin we also have the next generation of speed specialists on board and at the same time strengthen our team in Switzerland. We are also happy about a new face in the technical disciplines: young Katharina Huber complements our team perfectly."

Together with our new additions, the Fischer Race Family starts the 19/20 season with full motivation.
